- Minor services, such as fillings, are usually up to 80% covered.
- Major services, including dentures and crowns, may be up to 50% covered.
- Coverage can vary for services like orthodontia and dental implants.
Your plan may come with a number of fees and stipulations. For example, you might have a deductible of $50 - $100 before your coverage kicks in. There may be a waiting period as well before you can receive coverage for certain restorative services. Also, keep in mind that some basic plans may not provide any benefits for major services.
Additionally, it is important to note that PPO plans usually come with an annual maximum, which might be anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000. In some cases, we can even schedule major services across calendar years so you can use two annual maximums rather than just one.
